Information we collect

When you contact us or request something - a message, a custom quote, a visit request, or interest in a specific in-stock building - we collect your name, email, phone number, and whatever details you include, plus which page you were on when you reached out.

When you buy a building, we collect your mailing and delivery address and order details (price, payment method, delivery date) to fulfill the order and generate paperwork.

If you sign a rent-to-own contract online, that form additionally collects your driver's license number and issue/expiration dates, your employer's name and phone number, two personal references, and (if you don't own your residence) your landlord's contact information - the same information a paper rent-to-own application would ask for. This is the most sensitive information we collect, and it's encrypted before it's ever saved (see Security below).

If you sign up for new-inventory emails, we collect your email address and, optionally, which categories you're interested in.

If you leave a review, your name and review are shown publicly on the site once approved; your email is not published.

Automatically, from browsing the site - standard web analytics (pages viewed, general location inferred from IP address, device/browser type) and, if you arrived from an ad or a shared link, which one. Saving a listing to your wishlist is stored only in your own browser and is never sent to us at all.

What we don't collect

We don't process payments through this website. Deposits and payments are always handled in person or by phone through our own card terminal - we never see or store your full card number here.

Cookies and similar technology

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site traffic. We also use your browser's own storage (not sent to any server) for a couple of small conveniences: your wishlist, which theme/ad campaign referred you (so we can tell which one worked), and whether you've dismissed a site announcement. None of this is used to track you across other websites or to serve you ads elsewhere. You can block or clear cookies and browser storage anytime in your browser's settings; the site will still work, though we won't know how you found us.

How we use your information

To respond to your questions and quote requests, fulfill and deliver orders, generate and store required contract paperwork, send order and appointment updates, and - only if you've opted in - let you know when new inventory arrives. We don't sell your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use Resend to deliver emails (order updates, signing confirmations, the new-inventory list) and Google Analytics for site traffic. Both only receive what's needed to do that job. If your custom order goes to manufacturing, the builder receives what's needed to build it. We don't share your information with anyone else, and never for their own marketing purposes.

Security

Access to customer and order information is restricted to authorized staff through a password-protected admin panel. Sensitive information collected during online contract signing (driver's license number, employer, and reference/landlord contact info) is encrypted before it's stored, so it isn't readable as plain text even from a copy of the underlying data. No system is perfectly secure, but this is a real, active protection, not just a policy statement.

Your choices

Every new-inventory email includes an unsubscribe link. To ask a question about your information, have us delete it, or correct something, contact us using the details below - we'll do what we reasonably can, balanced against recordkeeping we're required to keep (e.g. signed contracts and order records).

Children

This site is intended for adults and isn't directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
