Getting your site ready
Your part
- A solid base: concrete blocks, gravel, cement or bare dirt all work, sized for the building.
- As close to level as you can get it. If the ground is more than 8 inches out of level, have concrete blocks on hand so we can build it up.
- A clear path and building spot: move trash cans, vehicles, lawn equipment, boats and trailers out of the way.
- Gates at least 1 foot wider than the building. We can't move a building over a fence, so any fence in the way has to come down.
- Tree limbs trimmed to about 13 ft 6 in along the path. Limbs can damage the building.
- Low overhead wires (power, phone, cable)? Tell us when we call ahead so we can plan around them.
Our part
- We deliver it and set it in place.
- We provide the shims to level it once it is down, and use your blocks to build up low spots.
